With heavy hearts, we honour today the memory of Robyn-Krystle O’Reilly, who lost her life to domestic violence on August 19, 2023 in Wickham, Quebec. Robyn’s death leaves two young children without their loving mother.
While the statistics tell us that every 6 days, on average, a woman in Canada is killed by her intimate partner, it never becomes easier to learn the name and the story of a woman who has been taken from this world under such tragic circumstances. When this violence affects one of our Royal LePage family members, things feel all the more sorrowful. In the difficult days that have passed and stretch onwards, we hold in our hearts Robyn’s entire family, including her stepmother, Melody May, who is both a Royal LePage professional and dedicated Shelter Foundation advocate.
