As the son of Janice Newton and grandson of Nancy Newton Sr., Matthew grew-up immersed in the real estate world.  Matthew graduated from Centennial College in 2003 and became a real estate broker in 2005, making him the third generation of realtors in the Newton Family.

While growing up Matthew was an outstanding athlete as both a AAA soccer goalie for NDG and RDP and as a AA hockey player for NDG and Hochelaga- Maisonneuve.  His years of dedication to these sports taught him the true value of commitment, hard work and team spirit. Matthew brings a new and fresh perspective to the Newton family Team not only as the youngest member but also being the only male amongst an all-female Team.  Being a first time home buyer himself gives Matthew the unique ability to truly understand the needs and desires of today’s new generation of hipsters. The wealth of knowledge that surrounds Matthew, given the experience of the Newton family, has given him an edge on the competition and he has often astounded his clients with his understanding and expertise of the real estate industry.
